Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tournago LLC ("Tournago," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Tournago mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Tournago is a team-management app for youth sports, used by coaches, team managers, and parents/guardians.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and password (or Apple Sign-In identifier).
- Profile information: optional profile photo and display name.
- Children's information (entered by a parent/guardian or team staff): the child's name, and optionally age or date of birth, jersey number, position, and the guardian relationship. See Children's Information.
- Team and event data: teams you create or join, rosters, games, practices, trips, RSVPs, and attendance.
- Messages and content: messages you send in team or direct chats, and any photos or files you upload.
- Payment information: if you subscribe, your payment card is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain limited billing metadata (e.g., subscription status, card brand, last four digits).
- Support communications: information you provide when you contact us or submit feedback.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, and interactions with the app, used for reliability and diagnostics.
- Push notification tokens: a device token so we can send notifications you have enabled.
- Log data: technical logs generated when you use the Service.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (accounts, teams, schedules, RSVPs, chat).
- Send transactional notifications and emails you have enabled (e.g., invites, event reminders).
- Process subscriptions and billing.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. How information is shared
- Within your team: to make the Service work, team members can see team content. Depending on a team's roster-visibility setting, coaches, managers, and members may see a rostered child's guardian contact information (email/phone) to coordinate. Your name and profile photo are visible to your teammates.
- Service providers (processors): we share information with vendors who process it on our behalf (see below).
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tournago, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to this Policy.

4. Children's information
Tournago is designed for adults who organize and participate in youth sports. Accounts are for parents/guardians and team staff. Children do not create accounts or provide information directly to us.
Information about a child (such as name and, optionally, age, jersey number, and position) is entered by the child's parent/guardian or by team staff for the purpose of team administration. A parent/guardian who adds a child represents that they have authority to provide that information. We use children's information solely to provide the Service to the team and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, or you wish to review or delete information about your child, contact us at josh.martin@tournago.app.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account removes or de-identifies your personal information and soft-deletes the children associated with your account, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or billing purposes. You may also email us to request deletion.
6. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: you can view and update your account and profile information in the app.
- Deletion: you can delete your account in the app or by contacting us.
- Notifications: you can control push notifications in your device settings and email preferences via the link in our emails.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under the CCPA or GDPR) to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.
8. International users
Tournago is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
